I wrote libraries and worked on a bunch of systems in C/C++/🦀 for a while then quit to start a startup. I then quit that within a year after realizing software wasn’t what I wanted to do long-term.

I'm preparing a few things before I start connecting the East and West information spheres through podcasts, interviews, and reports.

These are the topics I’ll be covering:

• General reporting on modern 🇯🇵
• Tech, finance, key industries (not going to list any buzzwords you know them)
• History (mostly 🇺🇸🇯🇵🇨🇳🇹🇼 but sometimes 🇨🇦🇰🇷🇰🇵 and ASEAN when it matters)
• Domestic politics (mostly 🇺🇸🇯🇵)
• Geopolitics, power, game theory (in relation to the East and the West)

Why

I haven't come across a media organization or public figure that:

• is diplomatic enough
• is at the intersection of the above topics
• has stake and deep(er) knowledge in both worlds
• can process East info into a digestible form for the West (and vice-versa)

I’ll be talking to a variety of people. The general goal is to increase the bandwidth between the East/West information spheres.
